02 / Foundation
Why this exists
Fiji does not have an infrastructure gap because nobody wants to build. It has one because the foundations are missing.
A lender cannot price risk without reliable credit information. A household cannot borrow against land it does not securely hold. A ministry cannot deliver a digital service if its system cannot speak to the next ministry's. Each of these is a foundation problem, and each one quietly caps what everything built on top of it can achieve.
Dimau Fintech Group works at that foundation layer. The ventures are separate businesses with separate risks, but they share a single premise: build the infrastructure to the standard Fijian law and Fijian institutions would require of it, before asking anyone to rely on it.
That standard applies to how we describe ourselves too. This site claims no licence we do not hold, no partnership we have not agreed, and no endorsement we have not been given.
